LCD offers the most versatility for multi media entertainment as it is available in all sizes from 22” upwards in addition to offering outstanding brightness. As a result LCD is suited to various environments from a smaller screen size in the bedroom to a larger screen size in the living room, as well as various applications from High Definition TV to Blu Ray movies & video games.

Plasma offers more realistic motion compared to LCD and this is especially evident as one moves to larger screen sizes. Plasma also offers more dramatic contrast when watching movies in a darker environment as it does not use a backlit system. However Plasma is not available in smaller screen sizes below 32”.
